This coming weekend...

I'll be going to SD to celebrate my dads 53rd birthday. I feel like it was just a few years ago that I was celebrating my dads 40th ‘over the hill’ birthday. Time flies. In addition, just right now I realized that my mom will be turning 56 in October. Is it just me or does 56 sound so much older than 53? In 4 years my mom will be 60… wtf! Haha. Where has the time gone?
I’m 26 now, yet I still don’t feel like an adult. Perhaps because I’m not, perhaps because I’m still in school and not really part of the ‘real’ world. But really, what does it mean to be an adult? What does it feel like to be an adult? Do I have to buy a house, or have a family with kids in order to feel like an adult? Maybe I’ll feel the same as I do now when I’m 30, or 40, or 50, playing video games and downloading drama on my computer. One thing for sure is that I definitely feel older than the college kids I see around campus, but maybe that’s as far as this feeling of being an adult will go.
But seriously, shit, my mom is will be turning 60 in 4 years and I’ll be 30 still wondering the same damn things I am now…

Why is it...

that I feel like my days are always unproductive?

that coffee can magically shrink my bladder to 1/10th of its original size?

that Yakyuudori is so far away?

that I seem to update my blog (or lack there of) at work?

MouseHunt....

is a facebook game that is the bane of my existence.

It is an utter waste of time and consumes my life to no end. Now let me try to explain the game so you can see why I am so addicted to it.

The point of the game is to catch mice. How do you catch the mice you ask? You buy cheese, arm your trap and wait. As an added bonus to help you waste time during the day and increase your chances of catching mice, you can sound a horn every 15 minutes to help attract a mouse to your seemingly anti-PETA trap. But fear not as no virtual mice are harmed in this game..........

When you catch mice you get points and money. You use the money to buy more cheese, upgrade your trap, and for expenses tied to traveling to distant regions in hopes of catching the more rare breeds of mice.

So in a nutshell, that's the game. There is no "winning."

I sit here and refresh my facebook page every 15 minutes in hopes of sounding the horn and catching a mouse. Believe it or not, I'm not the only one who plays this absolutely stunning game. The facebook application is ranked number 1.

So all you people with facebook, I suggest you join me in my MouseHunt endeavors and waste your life away. Misery loves company.
